The Story of MRA
Founded by Ms Nikki, our humble learning centre is built on her genuine love for children and her deep passion for teaching. Growing up, Ms Nikki never fully understood the purpose of education; she was guided by her parents through primary school, with her father tutoring her in math during secondary school. But as she advanced in her studies, she began to see how essential a strong foundation is from a young age. Becoming a teacher herself gave her a new perspective: she realized that a good teacher isn’t just someone with extensive knowledge, but someone who can relate to students, help them find joy in learning, and make them look forward to each lesson. Inspired by the teachers who made a difference in her life, Ms Nikki aims to be that positive influence for her own students.
The tagline “Empowering Learning Through Heartfelt Guidance, Beyond the Books” was thoughtfully crafted by Ms Nikki, encompassing her mission to create classes that go beyond academic success. Her hope is to build an environment where every student feels supported, engaged, and inspired to reach their potential regardless of their starting point.
Hi everyone! If someone had told me years ago that I’d be introducing my very own education business today, I probably would’ve laughed it off as impossible. Yet, here I am, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible journey that brought me here.
Growing up, I dreamed of finding a career that I’d truly enjoy. It wasn’t until I graduated from Junior College and started teaching at a tuition center that I discovered my true passion—teaching. But teaching, I’ve learned, is so much more than just imparting knowledge. It’s about lighting a spark in every child, nurturing their curiosity, and showing them that learning can be exciting and rewarding.
What I love most about this role is how dynamic and fulfilling it is. From designing worksheets that are both comprehensive and engaging, to planning lessons that feel more like an adventure than a chore, to finding creative ways to make tricky concepts “click”—every aspect brings me so much joy. But the highlight? It’s the moments when a student tells me they’re excited for class or beams with pride over their progress. Those moments are priceless and fuel my drive to keep improving myself and enhancing the support I provide for my students.
My goal is simple: to be a friendly and reliable partner in your child’s learning journey. Together, we’ll build their confidence, curiosity, and love for learning, ensuring that every lesson becomes something they look forward to with enthusiasm. 😊

The fees will be adjusted accordingly for the next month. For example, if you child misses one class in a month, you will be charged for one class less in the next month.
There is a one-time annual material fee of $60 (primary)/$80 (secondary) which includes all of our in-house curated notes, worksheets, mock papers, summary sheets and any extra resources provided.
Payment will be done in advance – 3 days before the first lesson of the month. We accept paylah, paynow or bank transfer.
As our schedules are tight and we have limited free slots available, this will be subject to availability. Our tutors will try our best to slot you in for a make up lesson if needed, but kindly understand that we not always be able to accommodate to your request.
To help ensure that lesson slots are used efficiently and fairly, we hope to build a mutual understanding with parents and students regarding the cancellation policy. We understand that unexpected situations can arise, so any waiver of classes will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Initiated by parents:
More than 24 hours’ notice: No charges will be incurred.
12 to 24 hours’ notice: 50% of the session fee will be charged.
Less than 12 hours’ notice: 100% of the session fee will be charged.
*If your child has a medical certificate, no charges will be incurred*
Initiated by our tutors:
We will do our best to arrange a makeup session. If that’s not possible, the session fee will either be refunded or credited towards the following month’s fees.
Sessions are expected to begin on time, with a grace period of up to 10 minutes. If a student arrives more than 10 minutes late, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time. As we may have back-to-back lessons, extending the session beyond the planned end time may not be possible. We seek your understanding on this matter!
Yes, you will be entitled to $20 off the total monthly fee if your child signs up for both Math and Science with us!
Yes, you will be entitled to $20 off the total monthly bill for every sibling enrolled. (If you enrol 2 children, you get $20 off; 3 children, you get $40 off etc.)
Most definitely! If you refer someone to join our class, you get $50 off the total fee in the next month.
We do not pro-rate material fee. Hence, if you join in the middle of the year, full payment is of the material fee is needed, but your child will receive the resources from the first half of the year.
