The Story of MRA
Founded by Ms Nikki, Moonreacher Academy is a cosy home-based tuition space in Woodlands, built on her love for children and passion for teaching. Inspired by teachers who made a difference in her own life, she hopes to help every student feel supported, grow in confidence, and find joy in learning.

Hi everyone! If someone had told me years ago that I’d be introducing my very own education business today, I probably would’ve laughed it off as impossible. Yet, here I am, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible journey that brought me here.
Growing up, I dreamed of finding a career that I’d truly enjoy. It wasn’t until I graduated from Junior College and started teaching at a tuition center that I discovered my true passion—teaching. But teaching, I’ve learned, is so much more than just imparting knowledge. It’s about lighting a spark in every child, nurturing their curiosity, and showing them that learning can be exciting and rewarding.
What I love most about this role is how dynamic and fulfilling it is. From designing worksheets that are both comprehensive and engaging, to planning lessons that feel more like an adventure than a chore, to finding creative ways to make tricky concepts “click”—every aspect brings me so much joy. But the highlight? It’s the moments when a student tells me they’re excited for class or beams with pride over their progress. Those moments are priceless and fuel my drive to keep improving myself and enhancing the support I provide for my students.
My goal is simple: to be a friendly and reliable partner in your child’s learning journey. Together, we’ll build their confidence, curiosity, and love for learning, ensuring that every lesson becomes something they look forward to with enthusiasm. 😊

If there is another group class with available slots, your child may join that class within the same week. If this is not possible, a make-up class can be arranged on another day, subject to the tutor’s availability. If neither option is feasible, the fee for the missed class will be credited toward the following month’s payment, provided that we receive more than 24 hours’ notice.
There is a one-time annual material fee of $60 (primary)/$80 (secondary) which includes all of our in-house curated notes, worksheets, mock papers, summary sheets and any extra resources provided.
Payment must be made at least 3 days before the first lesson of the month and can only be completed via PayNow (UEN).
As our schedules are tight and we have limited free slots available, this will be subject to availability. Our tutors will try our best to slot you in for a make up lesson if needed (capped at once every 2 months), but kindly understand that we not always be able to accommodate to your request.
To help ensure that lesson slots are used efficiently and fairly, we hope to build a mutual understanding with parents and students regarding the cancellation policy. We understand that unexpected situations can arise, so any waiver of classes will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Initiated by parents:
More than 24 hours’ notice: No charges will be incurred.
12 to 24 hours’ notice: 50% of the session fee will be charged.
Less than 12 hours’ notice: 100% of the session fee will be charged.
*If your child has a medical certificate, no charges will be incurred*
Initiated by our tutors:
We will do our best to arrange a makeup session. If that’s not possible, the session fee will either be refunded or credited towards the following month’s fees.
Sessions are expected to begin on time, with a grace period of up to 10 minutes. If a student arrives more than 10 minutes late, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time. As we may have back-to-back lessons, extending the session beyond the planned end time may not be possible. We seek your understanding on this matter!
Yes, you will be entitled to 5% off the total monthly fee if your child signs up for both Math and Science with us!
Yes! You’ll enjoy 4% off your total monthly bill for your second child, with the same discount extending to any additional siblings enrolled.
Most definitely! We have different tiers for our referral fees, do contact us to find out more 🙂
If you would like to withdraw your child from our class, we require you to serve a one-month notice.
We do not pro-rate material fee. Hence, if you join in the middle of the year, full payment is of the material fee is needed, but your child will receive the resources from the first half of the year.
Please ensure that your child keeps their camera on and is unmuted during class when necessary. This is required to allow them to actively participate and for our tutors to conduct lessons effectively.
